Hayley was born an 'only child' and has grown into a beautiful girl with lovely dark eyes and a loving nature - although a bit fiery with outside dogs. Hayley has produced two successful litters for us passing on beautiful bodies to her puppies. Her daughter Ch Fortress Firestorm remains at Fortress Kennels and another daughter (Fortress Southern Sting - Timaru) produced Ch Fortess The Hurricane and Ch Fortess Matawhero Magic, also living here. We see many of Hayley's offspring regularly and are delighted with their development, health and temperaments. Hayley's show career was short but while she was in the ring she won many Reserve Challenges, her strengths are her very good movement (still sound in old age), strong head with dark eyes, good topline and tail set and balanced and correct front and rear angulation.
Hayley is sadly missed.
