![]() I could take that first statement as an insult... comparing me to men. I'm much better. Anyway, Lucinda is a very... interesting person to say the least. Quite twisted and cruel and well, admirable if you like that sort. Personally I can do without that sort though. Here's a quarter
I was born in N'awlins about 32 years ago now. My parents died when I was pretty little and I went to live with my mother's parents, lucky me. Of course, the really good thing about that was that they were about as perceptive as a rock so I could do anything I liked. Good thing too, 'cause it got pretty damn boring there. Luckily, that didn't last too long, my grandmother died when I was 12 and my grandfather obligingly followed not too long after that. And they left me everything. At least they ended up serving a purpose. The authorities wanted to send me somewhere else, but that wasn't somethin' I was going to have anything to do with. I made sure that I had plenty of money and kept avoiding the juvenile authorities until they just plain figured I was too much trouble and gave up. So I just spent all the time I could just havin' fun. Though I wasn't stupid and didn't spend all the money. I do have some brains after all. I was about 17 when I met Elgin Barrows. I didn't know it at the time or for quite awhile after even, but he was a vampire. A Setite, to be exact. And he got me into the best thing I've ever experienced by introducing me to the worship of Set. He was more like a father to me than my father or grandfather were, we were a lot alike in so many ways. A couple of years after I met him, I found out about the existence of vampires and he told me that if I served well and was faithful, that the gift might someday be mine. Well, I'm sure you can understand why I did my very best to be a good little worshipper. After all, I do know what side of the bread that my butter is on. And I knew the kind of power I could get from all of that. I was 27 when I finally attained that power. Elgin embraced me himself, rather flattering coming from the head of the Setite temple. But then, it was no less than I deserved. I got promoted rather highly in the ranks, but my goal was to be the head of the temple. After all, I had worked hard and I knew that I could do a good job. So I thought long and hard on that and finally I decided on a course of action and stuck to it. After Elgin "disappeared" I naturally was the one to take his place. I really did mourn his loss. After all, like I said he was like a father to me. Three years after this was when I first met Ron Miller. I saw a lot of promise in him, he had just the right streak of cruelty in him. And so I embraced him and made him a Setite. Little did I know where all of that would lead. I ended up with the honor of meeting Set himself and Ron was allowed to turn me into a Greater Vampire. I have spent much of my time in Set's realm since them, but I have not neglected my duties on Earth, of course. I could certainly never think of doing that. Now we have the most favored and powerful Temple of Set in the world, I am proud to say. And I will continue to serve Set so long as he'll have me. On the day he chooses that I am no longer useful, I will be most cooperative in allowing him to end my days. Until then look out, sugar. 'Cause the snakes aren't far behind you. Might even be one under your bed right now. ![]() By the pricking of my thumbs, devils speak of ways in which she'll manifest |
