However, A.U.C. 587 = 167 was 377 days long. Hence, on the reconstructed Lex Acilia proposed here, A.U.C. 588 = 166 was 378 days long. Since, on the same reconstruction, the Julian dates A.U.C. 587 = 167 are known, this fixes the absolute dates of A.U.C. 588 = 166.
