Adoption: a Loving Option

Thinking about adoption?  My advice is PRAY!
That's it!  God will take care of the rest!  He led us to two beautiful boys through our state's social services department .  There are so many ways to go about looking in to it, that it can seem overwhelming at first! 
God will lead you.  If adoption is the option for you, remember, through thick and thin, that God ordained that your children were YOUR children before time began!

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I didn't know her, or even if she was a girl!  But I loved her because she was MY child.  After she was born, as I got to know her, I fell in love with the person she was.  So it was with my boys.  Although I didn't have 9 months, it was more like 2 weeks, as soon as I knew they were coming to us, I loved them as my children.  Now that I am getting to know them, I find myself falling in love with them as individuals...just like with my daughter!  These are MY sons, even though I didn't give birth to them,  I know that this was God's plan, He meant for us to raise them, and train them up in the way they should go.    It's an awesome responsibility, even challenging at times, but when things get tough, I pray a lot! And hold fast to the fact that He ordained these children to be mine even before time began.  No second guessing God!  And that gives me the freedom to love them right where they are, without having to 'worry' about whether or not this is the 'right fit'.  I have never questioned whether my daughter was meant to be mine, nor shall I ever question if the boys were meant to be mine.

I truly am a JOYFUL MOTHER!  I thank the Lord daily for my 3 beautiful children, as well as praying for them.  There is awesome power in the prayers of a mother!
