What is Radioactive Dating?
Radioactive dating is the method that evolutionists use to try to detetmine the age of rocks. Using this method, they have established the age of the earth aat about 4.5 billion years old.
Igneous rocks are rocks that were once made of hot lava, and many of them have radioactive materials caught inside, like Uranium. Uranium has a lot of energy, but is also unstable and can't hold onto that energy. They lose it slowly over the years in a process called radioactive decay. Nuclear scientists can measure how fast the radioactive materials lose their energy. Lead atoms look a lot like Uranium atoms, but aren't radioactive. Scientists think that Uranium turns into lead slowly, as it loses it's radioactive energy.
The problems with this method of dating is that is calls for some pretty big assumptions on the part of the scientists.
There is no way for them to know how much radioactive material was in the rock to BEGIN with.
There is no way for them to know how much lead was in the rock to begin with.
The sample rock is assumed to not be polluted.
The scientists are assuming that the rate of decay has always been the same.
There is no way to know how much uranium was in the rock to start with. Same with lead. If there was any lead in the rock to begin with, the whole method is useless. If the sample is polluted, the method is useless. The rate at which Uranium breaks down has only been measured for about 60 years.......there is no way to know if the rate of decay as always been constant. (See creation vs. evolution for other examples that evolutionists assumed were constant, and have been proven otherwise.)
Radioactive dating was used to date one sample 12 times. The dates determined were between 140 million years ago to almost 3 billion years ago. The sample was of known age. It was from the Hawaiian volcano Hualalai eruption in 1801. |

Evidence that the earth is young...........
The population of the earth supports a young earth. If humans have been around 1 million years, if every family had only 2 children, if no one lived over the age of 40 the world population would be approximately 10 to the 2,070 power! (That's a 1, with 2,070 zeros after it!) The whole universe could not fit that many people in it shoulder to shoulder!!!) The current population of the earth is about 5 billion, most families have more than 2 children, and most live to an age older than 40..so war, starvation and disease could not count for the difference!!
The amount of radiogenic Helium in the eaerth's atmosphere, the amount of salt and minerals in the ocean, and the strength af the earth's magnetic field all indicate a much younger earth than would be possible if evolution were true. |

BANG! Shooting down the Big Bang theory........
The Big Bang theory says that all matter and energy was lumped together in one little ball. For some unknown reason this exploded and caused the the pattern and order of our universe. As the elements cooled down it formed the simplest element in all the universe, hydrogen gas. Eventually, all matter, energy and life came from this explosion.
There are at least 8 problems associated with this theory..according to the scientists who believe it! A few of these are below. Where did the egg come from? Why did the egg explode? If there really was an egg like that, it would have had enormous gravity! Not even light would've been able to escape! How would've it explode if not even light could escape? The Law of Conservation of Angular Momentum is opposite to the theory of the big bang. Angular momentum = mass x velocity x distance from the center of mass, and always stays constant in an isolated system. As the gases were pulled in to form the sun, the sun would spin faster and faster (picture an ice skater pulling their arms in). The sun makes up over 99% of the mass in our solar system, yet it spins slowly while the planets move rapidly around the sun.
There is no evidence that an explosion of any kind would create anything other than disorder and chaos. If a bomb explodes, does it create anything patterned or complex? Of course not! |
