Shade of North Forest

Shade, born and bred on a horse farm on the edge of the North Forest, is travelling alone for the first time. Riding the unicorn she raised from a foal and carrying with her a small harp, a curious black pearl, and a host of disappointments, Shade is looking to lose herself in a new life. Her initial goal is to reach the City, to find work as resident bard in a comfortable inn, maybe to join the Bardic College. Her life takes an interesting turn when a mysterious stranger offers to take her on as his apprentice......
