Harvey Oatman (286) Genealogy Harvey (Daniel, Samuel, George, John, Johannes), son of Daniel and Ruth (Thomas) Oatman, was born at Hartford, Washington County, New York, 12 July 1820, and died 27 April 1894 at the age of 74 years.

He married Juliette Northrup, born 1 May 1820 and died 13 February 1897. Both are buried in the Old Hartford Cemetery, Hartford, New York.

Harvey was a harness maker in Hartford. In 1860, his mother, Ruth, was living with them. In 1870 Myron Inglesbe, a clerk, resided with them; he later married their daughter Mary.
