PERFORMED ABROAD
1989 - Her Choreography won FIRST PRIZE in the Advanced Contemporary
dance section of the Premio Citta di Catania
International dance competition held in Sicily and organsied under the
patronage of the National Dance Committe of France, IDACI, ITI, and UNESCO.
1992 - Competed in the 5th
Concours International de Dance de Paris held at the L'Operas Comique
and the Theatres des Champs Elysees in France.
1992 - Choreography La Forza del Destino
presented in the Dance Festival celebrating Verdi "Coreografie D'Autore"
in Livorno, Italy.
1994 - Competed in the 7th
Concours International de Dance de Paris held at the L'Operas Comique
and the Theatres des Champs Elysees in France.
1992 - Entered the 5th Grand Prix International Video Dance
held under the patronage of the Conseil International de la Dance- UNESCO
held in Sete, France.
1995 - Two solos Choreographies performed at
PACO and Friends festival organised by Art Forum Schaffhausen Switzerland, under the
artistic direction of Francisco Miranda, which was held in France.
1998 - Participated in the fifth Rencontres Europeennes de Creation Choregraphique RECC98 (14 - 18 December 1998)
"SANTUS"- a Celebration (in three movements), with three perfomances held at the Teatro Municipal Sao Luiz, Lisbon; Teatro Garcia de Rosende, Evora; Rivoli Teatro Municipal - Grande Auditorio, Porto
in Portugal.
1999 - Invited to participate in the 9th International Festival of Modern Dance in Kaunas, Lithuania. My Company, Contact Dance Company gave two performances of CHOICES at the Kauno Dramos Theatre
1999 - Invited to participate in the 7th International Choreographic Platform in Almada, Portugal. Contact Dance Company performed CHOICES at the Teatro Municipal of Almada.
