Profile: 1949, He was born in Kitakyushu-shi, Fukuoka Prefecture. Escorted by his father, young Takayuki went Sunday school for one year during his primary school days. 1968, His first employment relocated him to Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture. In the new town, he started regularly attending Goi Church - Japan District Church of the Nazarene, where he was baptized under the good guidance of Pastor Kiichi Toyoda in June 1968. 1971, He became a public servant at Ichihara City Hall. While in Church he served God as a Sunday school teacher or chairman of the youth groups. 1980, Responding to God's calling, he entered Tokyo Biblical Seminary. After graduating the Seminary, he served at Sakado Holiness Church (Senior Pastor: Nobumici Murakami) for three years as an assistant Pastor, and for six years in Shizuoka Holiness Church (Senior Pastor: Hiromichi Ohkawa). 1994, His Canadian connection began in 1994 when he entered Prairie Bible College in Alberta. While studying in Canada, he was given a mission of spreading the Gospel among Canadian resident Nikkei people. 1998-2004, Shepherded Calgary Japanese Gospel Church. 2004 April - present, Shepherding Victoria Japanese Church. Pastor and Mrs. Keiko Kajiwara are blessed with two daughters. |
