Forgery B


1. Shades of orange on Greenish tinted, medium thick, wove paper.
2. size approx. 18.5 mm x 22 mm
3. There are 44 pearls up the left side and 43 up the right.
4. The letters of CORREOS touch neither the ribbon's edge nor each other.
5. Lines of shading in the ribbon that contains the word CORREOS, starting from the lefthand side.
          a. 4 short strokes under the left side of the left-hand loop.
          b. 6 lines on top of the left-hand loop. These do not touch each other and the last 2 are slightly longer.
          c. 6 lines to the right of the left-hand loop, one being very short and obstructed in the shadow.
          d. 6 lines to the left left of the right-hand loop, the last being a partial stroke.
          e. 6 lines on top of the right-hand loop, all being of about equal length and none touching each other.
          f. 3 short strokes under the right side of the right-hand loop. .

Characteristics of the philatelic forgery.
1. Orange on a med\ium thick, rough yellowish, woven paper.
2. Size approx. 18.5 mm x 22 mm
3. There are only 27 pearls up the left side and 29 up the right.
4. The letters of the word CORREOS are small and the second "R" touches the ribbon's edge.
5. Almost all the shading lines in the ribbon run into each other.
6. The "C" of CUARTOS has one large top serif and no serif on the bottom.
7. The cancel is fake.
