This is a map of the southern end of Morgan Co., GA showing
Antioch Church, Big Indian Creek, and (at right) the homesite of Isaac
Jones and Milly Clayton (right). Thomas Clayton lived near Big Indian Creek.
Putnam Co., GA lies to the lower part of the map.
I have attempted to assemble an Isaac Jones Timeline
with which I hope to shed some light on where/when Isaac and his family
were. Also, I have listed some Isaac Jones Bible
notes . A good link is the Isaac Jones Bible at Jim
Robertson's
page. Isaac Jones also left a will
which shows some interesting connections. I would like to try to find connections
between Isaac Jones and the other families mentioned on this site.
I am particularly interested in the various Nathan
Jones families as well as the family of Aaron Jones. Isaac was obviously close to the Shaddix
families also as well as the family of Archibald Wadsworth and Robert Clayton.

living "adjacent" to Nathan Jones.
In 1821, when Isaac Jones died in Morgan Co., GA, he held a Service
