What we know (or think we know):
An Isaac Willingham b. ca 1767 d. ca 1810 Columbia Co., GA m. Feb 6, 1787 to Martha Brasfield (daughter of George Brasfield) ca 1787. Their children were:
A William Willingham (b. ca 1740) died in Columbia County, GA in 1797. His wife was named Nancy. Their children were:
(Note: I would suggest that William and Isaac above were closely related based on the naming patterns within their families as well as the marriage between their offspring. According to research of Nancy Leeg Jankowski, William was from St. Johns Parrish Berkley Co. S.C. and his father was named Isaac Willingham, his mother either Sarah or Nancy.)
A William Brooks Willingham (d. 1838) and his wife Mary (Moon?) had a son named Raleigh Sanders Willingham b. ca 1795.
Raleigh Sanders Willingham b. ca 1795 and Cash Willingham might have been related, since their children, who married, were identified as cousins. Cash Willingham was the son of John Willingham and Ann (Spinks?). Raleigh Sanders Willingham was the grandson of John Willingham and Ann (Spinks?). The names Raleigh and Cash track the names of Raleigh Spinks b. 1796 and Cash Spinks b. 1805. They were sons of Christina Willingham and John Spinks.
A John Willingham sold land on each side of the South Fork of Keg Creek to William Willingham on May 15, 1786. George Brasfield (father of Martha above) witnessed the sale.
An Isaac Willingham married Sarah Jones (daughter of John Jones).
A John Willingham witnessed the will of John Jones.
A Thomas Willingham married Ann Jones (daughter of John Jones above).
A John Green Willingham was living in District 11, Columbia Co., GA in 1806. He was living adjacent to John Pittman and ? Mannen on Greenbrier Creek. His wife was Elizabeth.
A John Willingham died in Columbia Co., GA in 1818. In 1810, he left a deed of gift to his sons. His sons were:
A John Willingham Jr. and his wife Ann sold land on Sullivan Creek in Dec 1793. Witnesses were Luke Landers, Clayborn Landers and William Willingham. John and Ann Willingham appear on a Thomas Clayton deed in 1786 recording a sale of land to James Landers (son of Luke above). The deed was witnessed by Thomas Willingham. John and Ann were the parents of Christina Willingham, who married John Spinks. She named sons Cash and Raleigh. (note: It is almost certain that this is the John Willingham who named sons in a deed of gift as William, Cash, Isaac, and John. See above) (Note: This John could not be identical to the John Willingham (m. Ann) who was born in Lunenburg County, Virginia ca 1725.)
A Rachel Willingham b. ca 1782 married Jesse Moon b. ca 1776.
A Creacy (or Lucretia) Willingham (sister of Rachel above) married Jesse Moon. Jesse Moon named a son Cash Moon.
Thomas Willingham sold land adjacent to John Landers on Keg Creek in 1799. Witnesses were Isaac Willingham and John Moon.
Archibald C. Willingham married Eleanor Belcher in Columbia County, Georgia on December 12, 1809.
