There is no doubt of the impact and influence the Beatles hold over music today. Discoveries made in the studio, the idea to quit touring, and the music itself affect many artists today, and with all probability, will continue to influence more generations to come. Just because they broke up in 1970 does not mean their music won't be heard. On the contrary, the Beatles are selling more albums and merchandise now, then they ever had in the past. In fact, breaking up was a bold, but great move in their career, as they ended on top of their game. |

The Beatles were indeed a phenomenon unparalleled previously and there will probably be nothing that will come close to the status they achieved. The Beatles were so huge because of their timing, (particulary in America), their look (hair), their charisma, and of course, their music. The chances of another group combining all these assets effectively is slim, and therefore the Beatles will forever be thought of as the greatest group to play on our earth. |

Each Beatle had their own personality that everyone can relate to, yet they remained united as a group. They made themselves so easy to love and adore. But apart from this, it was their music and message through the music that insures their success today. They were so innovative and defied the way things were done in the past. This created great music. The music reflected the times, but still remains applicable today. Messages of peace, love and happiness are certainly welcomed in this age of almost anything but those. Unlike many groups today, the Beatles message was not that of menace and evil, but it was a message that set out to change the world by changing the minds of the individuals listening. Love, meditation, religion and peace were the anthems supported by the Beatles and these anthems are as much needed and applicable today as they were then. |

All in all, the Beatles legacy lies within their music and their message. Although timing, good looks and charm didn't hurt them on their road to success. It is that message and innovative sound that transformed the world and continues to influence people today. So, although the Beatles music is more than 30 years old, it is not surprising it remains to be some of the most popular and best selling music today. |
