    In this provocative futuristic action thriller there are two realities: one of which is the life we live daily and the other lies behind it. One is a dream. The other is called The Matrix.

    Neo, have you ever had a dream that you were sure was real? What if you couldn’t wake up from that dream, Neo? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

    Neo, (KEANU REEVES) is desperately looking for the truth about something called The Matrix. Something about which he has only heard some rumors –something mysterious and unknown, something of which Neo is sure, something that has unimaginable and sinister control over his life.
 

    What is The Matrix?
    Neo believes that only Morpheus (LAWRENCE FISHBURNE) can provide him with the answer. Neo knows Morpheus only by legend –an evasive personality considered to be the most dangerous man that has ever lived.
 

    All I’m offering you is the Truth.
    One night, Neo is contacted by Trinity (CARRIE-ANNE MOSS), an unknown beauty who leads him to another world, a sub-world where he finally meets Morpheus and uncovers the truth about The Matrix.
 

    Nobody can be told what The Matrix is. It has to be seen by oneself.
    At this point Neo is faced with a doubt as big as the first one:
 

    Is He the Chosen One?
    Even before understanding what that means, Neo is sure that the answer is no. Some, like Cypher (JOE PANTOLIANO), Morpheus’ colleague, share Neo’s conviction. Others are unsure.

    There are also those who protect The Matrix. Led by the persistent and literally indomitable Agent Smith (HUGO WEAVING), the protectors use confusing and scary methods to get information.
 

    What’s the use of a phone call if you can’t talk?
    Neo, Morpheus and Trinity must fight brutally for their lives against this evil and powerful gang to find the answers they are looking for; to understand their own roles in the epic drama developing around them; to become aware of their own power and recognize their destinies.
 

    Weapons. A lot of them.
    Every movement, every second, every thought is crucial if they are to be freed from their existence under The Matrix.

    Look, have you seen the film “The Matrix”?  It’s really very interesting.  I found many similarities with your message.  I don’t know if the author got to know something in some way or another.  Maybe he knows nothing.  But the truth is that you can make an acceptable analogy.

    Well, my best regards to you and let’s hope that everything goes on well so that we’ll see each other soon.

    I went to see The Matrix, because of your comments about it, and I think that is unlikely that the majority of the public will get the message. The tendency is to see science fiction as such and not as a way of showing the non-visible reality. The theme seems to be based on the very-much-talked-about knowledge of Castaneda and his teachings of Don Juan, or Richard Bach’s "Illusions", where reality is actually illusionary.
    To represent it in a movie in the form of a computer program makes it easier to understand for a generation of Internet users. But it is unlikely that the message that lies behind will be understood: the machines that simulate reality by way of the neurones, are not machines, but Intelligent Cosmic Minds. Cosmic Minds that program other worlds and populate them with beings who are made to see a three-dimensional world, but at the same time are kept blind to other parallel dimensions, to which they could have escape if they only were aware that they are part of a manipulative program and if only they knew how to control matter: from the bending of a spoon, to going across a wall or becoming invisible.
    Some have achieved it: they are "illusionists" such as Sai Baba or David Copperfield. They know how to play with the physics of the objects, because they know the secret of the world. The former is using that knowledge to proclaim a spiritual doctrine in which he is revered as a god by the mediocrity that follows him with fascination, but without learning the lessons that this guru may have intended. The latter performs a show that fascinates the public while he earns millions of dollars without leaving any teaching. That’s because, of course, he is the enlightened one, and yet he keeps his knowledge to himself. It is a professional secret and may be even "initiational".
    It is not necessary to be on "the other side", with "peyote" or with "LSD", or in a transcendental state to know there’s no other reality behind this imposed three dimensional one other than the one that is being hidden. Hidden not with machines, but by other mental processes from the Universal Network of Energy and Consciousness that keeps the worlds working. Computer programs are not so different to the mind programming of the Cosmic Intelligence's, as the movie shows. Whether controlled by machines, through artificial intelligence or minds, through the normal intelligence of the galaxy rulers, the reality that we live in is not the only one that exists nor even the most important in which we are moving. This is because there’s a part of us that works in other plane (or planes), from where our physical actions are only a projection. What we are doing here with our minds only complies with the function of transferring experiences to the part of us that is somewhere else; where we will go back with all the memories of what we experienced here when we leave this plane.
    The scenes of mental travel in the movie that the characters perform to this dimension (from the one they achieved now) seem to represent an inverted astral journey: we came to this dimension and our body is in another; let’s call it an astral body, maybe an illusion if seen from here, but more or as real as this one when we are there.
    I met a girl in another plane who was wearing a green dress and an emerald for astral healing. She travelled there during her sleep. Her "other" body was as real in this other plane as the one she has here with the only difference that the latter is mortal and the former… maybe not.
    The Matrix offers a door to understanding the reality and unreality of things. It informs us of a conspiracy that has to be necessarily cosmic: it affects a whole world: it couldn’t have been designed in the world but out of it. By whom? That’s unknown… Here comes the role of the public, finding the answer, as long as they understand that a science fiction movie brings something to say, something that dares to show only half the story. It shows this to a public that forms a part of the millions of manipulated slaves sleeping in the dream of ignorance.
    The traitor of the movie, wanting to come back to the world’s "normal reality" and forget the penuries that knowing the truth entails, is the representation of the Judas that exists in any revolution, since the lie offers comfort, stability and a carefree existence. Unmasking the lie is a tragedy for the happiness of the ignorants who prefer the status quo to the collapse of what they believe to be the truth, the immovable.

    Hi friends! I’m getting in touch with all of you for the first time to recommend you see (if you haven’t seen it yet) the movie called "The Matrix". I don’t know if it has been on in other countries for a long time, but here, in Argentina, it was released more or less 10 days ago and this last weekend I saw it twice.

    I think it’s very recommendable for the quality of the storyline and the simple way in which certain concepts are explained. Perhaps many of you don’t like science fiction movies, or movies that are rich in computer-created effects, but certainly this won’t be the case with this film. The contents are what really matter, beyond those themes we are used to seeing in blockbusters or box-office successes like "the pretty girl and the handsome guy", the "heroe that is due to save the world" and one or two announced betrayals.

    I recommend this movie to you all because the protagonist denies the existence of fate, I mean, the idea that his life is being manipulated. It is said that the reality we know is not what really is. That there is a "program" called "The Matrix" that controls the whole life of every human being, making a slave of them. In the case of the film, the matrix is something computer-generated, but as we know, that can be an allegory of a force that controls mankind.

    It was quite a big surprise for me, because it was not exactly what I was expecting. What we hear and read is molded here clearly and subtly at the same time. In many movies you can see the theme "oppressive force-oppressed beings", but here you can appreciate it so strongly that it makes you understand the producer wants to transmit a message that is already known for us.

    It was a surprise also because the plot is very similar to a book I had just finished reading called "The Charlies: sons of 33" and I take this opportunity to recommend this book to you, especially to those who don’t want or can’t go to the cinema.     I invite those who have seen the movie, to make comments on it, if you want. I will give you all some details that not everybody realizes:

    ‘Morpheus’ is in Greek mythology the son of the Dream and the Night; is the first of the dreams and the only one that announces the truth. In the movie, a black actor impersonates Morpheus. The only two humans born in the only city that is not controlled by the machines (or Matrix) are black. Let’s remember that many sources say that the black race is the only one originated from the Earth and all the others were brought in artificially by alien species or were the result of genetic experiments.

    Throughout the movie there are most interesting dialogues and because of their richness I felt encouraged to write you this e-mail. The film finishes with a song of an American group ("Rage against the Machine") called "Wake Up". Following are the lyrics of this song for those who want it.

Your opinion about The Matrix has been very important… I’ve seen it recently and I agree with your considerations. I thank you for giving us your thought on the film. The value of that is incalculable, because above all people need of someone to explain them the meaning lying behind the film.

    Most people suffer from mind laziness when they have to think about transcendental and important matters. That’s why people like you are necessary to shake lazy minds that don’t even try to begin to analyze possible truthful contents. A content as real as the manipulation of human minds by negative superior forces that have dominated us through the milleniums in this world.

    The film “The Matrix” has been strategically aimed at those who seek the excitement of science fiction.  However, it would be interesting to analyze the contents of the message that the movie tries to convey.

    The movie talks about a “manipulative brain of human minds”, which through certain cybernetic programs is able to control people’s behaviour.  It programs their lives, daily situations, etc. to achieve an absolute control over them.  The purpose behind all this maybe unimaginable; perhaps it involves a power alien to this planet Earth.  I mean, it’s possible that cosmic forces have a direct relationship with the whole “Matrix” message.

    Furthermore, Commander Clomro’s message make us think about the similarities between his beliefs and the movie.

    I find it necessary to mention my personal experience and the radical change my life has had after discovering the truth I’ve found in Clomro’s message.  I’ve been a restless person who has been looking for concrete answers to questions nobody could answer.  My constant question was:  Why God, being perfect, created a world full of imperfections?  Why God, being a loving father, lets his children live surrounded by suffering, distress, hunger and injustice?  Given that God represents the Unity, why did he create a dual world, where good and evil coexist?

    “The Matrix” mentions, as a part of the “control plan” of the evil forces, the need for suffering in human evolution.  I think that is an aberrant thing:  reality shows us that suffering hasn’t helped us to evolve, but has so far led us towards our own “self-destruction”, and this cannot come from a God of Love.

    Mankind’s main enemy is ignorance.  This is why the inhabitants of this world have lived separated from a truth that has been dept hidden through millenniums; and we haven’t even dared to investigate the reason for many things we may not understand but nonetheless accept.

    We have been slaves, without realising it, of a corrupted and false system, which we don’t dare to look at with the eyes of comprehension and truth.

    “The Matrix” shows us that truth.  It introduces us to a “chosen one” who, through his rebelliousness towards the system, fervently wishes to find the answer he’s been looking for for so long.  When he finally finds it, he feels the need to save the long-suffering and enslaved humanity, which is unable to realise that it has been the target of unnecessary suffering that is inevitably leading towards self-destruction.

    Clomro’s message is the light that leads us to the truth;  and “The Matrix” is an instrument to help those who are still in search of the truth, to understand the meaning of their existence in this world.

    I’d like to recommend those who feel anxious to find the truth I found in Clomro’s message and in “The Matrix”, to read Commander Clomro’s page and his criticism of the film.  I guarantee you’ll find truth and light…

    Neo is literally born into the real world from the womblike incubator that he's existed in all his life! (Talk about a "virgin" birth!) The imagery in the movie is even symbolic of a birth - from an enclosed sac (complete with several umbilical cords!), down the chute of the birth canal into the world!

    Neo's name means "new" or "change". That's exactly WHY he was there. Neo was expected to change things, to bring about a new world order.

    A few other significant Biblical names: Trinity, Zion, Nebuchadnezzar.

    Neo is brought into a group of people that are excited about his presence; that are willing to believe he is The One.

    Neo's way was prepared by Morpheus who proclaimed to everyone that Neo was The One (in interviews, Lawrence Fishburne likens his character Morpheus to "John the Baptist").

    Neo's coming was foretold by the Oracle (and THAT woman knows EVERYTHING!).

    Neo was preceded by another; a man who was "the father of the movement" ("the father of multitudes" - a parallel to Abraham?).

    There are two brothers in this group. With Jesus, there were 3 sets of brothers among the apostles. The fact that there were siblings in this small group (especially brothers!) makes this noteworthy as a parallel.

    The group is betrayed from within their own group by Cypher (as a Judas parallel). Here, the Christ allegory breaks down somewhat in that Neo is not really the target of the betrayal (....if the Agents had only known!). The Agents really want Morpheus, and that is the deal Cypher makes - to lead Morpheus and the rest of the group into a trap where Morpheus can be taken.

    Neo's death & resurrection is predicted by the Oracle during Neo's visit. She tells Neo that he has "the gift", but it looks like he's waiting for something. Neo asks, "What." And the Oracle says, "You're next life, maybe!....."

    Later, Neo IS killed by the Agents (the authorities), and, instead of 3 days -in less than 3 minutes he is resurrected. Neo is dead for about 72 seconds. Using hours instead of seconds, 72 HOURS equals 3 DAYS!

    After his resurrection, he has a GREATER POWER than he had before and the authorities are powerless against him.

    After he inhabits the Agent's body and causes the Agent to explode, Neo is represented as an incandescent figure!

    Now,...what force brought Neo back from the dead? LOVE! The instrument of that love was Trinity (and not necessarily the person as much as what the NAME signifies in Christianity!).

    At the end of the movie, Neo hangs up a telephone after telling the Artificial Intelligence that this is the beginning of a world with no boundaries and no borders; then he "ascends" into the sky. A very fitting end!

    This is just a start, people! I don't have all the answers,... like most of us, I search for answers every day.
