The Sims
This is for the people who like to play God.  In the game you basicly create a family.  You can make them look like whatever you want as long as you have the parts provided by the game.  If you don't have the parts you want, the internet becomes your new best friend because you can get on various search sites (such as yahoo, my favorite) and search for "the sims".  You will come up with lists of sites about the game.  All of the self respecting ones have verious person creation parts available for you to download.  After that, you unzip the files using your trusty winzip program and send the contents to one of the program files under The Sims file.  I don't remeber which one it is because I got kind of tired of the game after a while.  Anyway, after you create the family, you must move them into a house or attempt to build one yourself.  After they are moved in, you try to control them so that they don't wind up killing themselves.  You also need to get at least one of them a job and make sure that all children get to school on time every day.  If you can do all of this, it is time to try to raise your ability points to get promotions in your job and if you are lucky, you will earn the highest ranking job in your job catagory.  If you ever tire of your furniture, download some more at the same place you got your people parts.
Overall, this game is pretty good if you like life simulators.  It can also be fun to use cheats to earn loads and loads of cash and design your dream house.  The major problem with this game is that it has a replay value that wears itself out after a while.  I give it a 5 out of 10 due to the deteriorating replay value.
