After my previous letter of "Bob Gates’ One Cold War Is Enough" dated 12 February 2007 that contains the sentences "……..for you and I this becomes significant because president Bush’ appointed Mr. Robert Gates as Defense Secretary is like inspired by my writing these letters to you. In other words, you and I have been burdened with the work of defense secretary, indirectly….." came the news about General Peter Pace visiting Jakarta to have a meeting with Indonesian president SBY.

Subject:  The Credit Should Go to Mr. Agus Maryono

Significant correction needed for the drawing of canal toll road, makes this picture should flip horizontally from the previous one.

Regarding my design of Canal Toll Road, there are two significant corrections need to describe here.

First, about the direction of the cars in the picture. It was like moving on the right side of the street, while in fact it should be moving on the left side of the street. Because in Indonesia the traffic is adopting the British rule, i.e. moving on the left of the street and using right hand steering wheels.

Second, about the pictures of trees, previously in my drawing it had no trees at all because I thought I should need to ask the landscaping expert to place the appropriate type of trees. Yet after reading an article in the Kompas newspaper of Thursday, 8 February 2007 page 7, written by Mr. Agus Maryono, an Observer of Rivers, Flood and Ecohidraulic who also gives lectures at Gajah Mada University, about the importance of trees for the rivers, I immediately put some pictures of trees in the design. So the credit for that picture of trees in my drawing should go to Mr. Agus Maryono.
