Wednesday 8 August 2007 in the morning,
I was at home with the maid, the others were out of the house. I was
preparing to wash my clothes when my sister contacted me by phone,
telling me that my cousin would like to transfer some money for me.
At night, on the same day, some SMS sent
by my sister to my cell phone about the same matter. I thanked my
cousin for doing such a favor in the time I was in need of cash.
Around 12 o'clock at midnight, I have
prepared to go to sleep, after brushing my teeth and doing some
pray. As usual I checked my cell phone to clear some incoming SMS,
because my cell phone has no much capacity to keep SMS. I finished
with my cell phone at 00.06.
By the time I laid my back on the bed,
all of a sudden I felt shaking. At first I thought it was because a
few days earlier I was suffering from influenza, and it could have
been the remaining of the tablets influence in my head. Yet the
shaking going on, and I heard the cracking sound on the attic, and
some trembling sound from the glass windows. While the cow bell in
the garage door kept on producing sound as if someone was shaking
it. It made me realize that it was an earthquake, I immediately
walked to the living room, took the small cat that just appeared in
the house more than week ago, and went to the front of the house.
