The 79th Annual Academy Awards were held at the Kodak Theatre in
Hollywood, CA on Sunday, February 25, 2007. |
Usually after the announcement of Grammy and
Oscar I would immediately search for the relevant news photos at Yahoo
News Photos to display in my letters, especially for the photos that seems
like related with my activities. But for this year's Grammy of February
11, 2007 I have to regret myself for loosing the chance of collecting the
relevant photos, because my mind was distracted by the disaster of "Jakarta Worst floods in 5
years" that happened on 2 February 2007. And some other tragic
accidents a few days earlier, like "Prima
Vista's Sinking Ship, Senopati Nusantara" on
30 December 2006 and "Adam
Air Crash With Three Americans On Board" on
1 January 2007. And yet other accidents around that time, like "Levina
Ship On Fire" on
22 February 2007, "Earthquake
in Padang" on 6 March 2007, "Airline
Disaster of False Landing of Adam Air and Garuda" on 21 February and 7
March 2007.
While for the Oscar 2007 held on 25 February 2007, I
barely missed the chance too, only after nearly a month later on 19 and 21
March 2007 that I got the chance to save the relevant photos like in the
above. Now that I wrote it in this holyday season, this
Oscar 2007 letter also becomes my own holyday gift.
