French president Sarkozy and wife divorce

PARIS (Reuters) - President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Cecilia have divorced after 11 years of marriage, dealing a severe personal blow to the French leader just six months after he was elected to power.

Ending months of spiraling speculation about a deep marital rift, Sarkozy's spokesman issued a terse statement saying the pair were separating by mutual consent and would not discuss the issue any further. He later confirmed they were divorced.

The couple's lawyer said they had already seen a judge to formalise the split and had agreed financial terms.

"There was no problem, they resolved everything amicably," lawyer Michele Cahen told Europe 1 radio.

It was the first time in modern French history that a serving president has divorced his wife, and Sarkozy's reaction to the split will come under intense scrutiny.

He was still wearing a wedding ring on the fourth finger of his left hand when he waved to photographers on arrival in Lisbon on Thursday for the European Union summit.

Cecilia played a crucial role in his rise to power, serving as an adviser during his previous stints as interior and finance minister. Sarkozy himself vaunted their relationship, telling aides she was "the only non-negotiable part" of his career.

Her departure could affect more than his personal life.

The news on TV about French president Nicolas Sarkozy divorcing his wife that appeared on October 2007 really worried me because in my previous letter of  12  June   07, "President Nicolas Sarkozy's Inauguration", I wrote : ".......my old friend Ade Pane also often joked that my family came from the island of Sicilia. Recently I realized that the name of president Nicolas Sarkozy's wife is Cecilia Sarkozy."

What made me worry was that what if the sentence "....my family came from the island of Sicilia" was interpreted as my wishing to develop a family from his wife Cecilia, and it caused the divorce. But I kept trying to deny it myself, while also made no search of the news in the internet.

Until recently when I browsed the internet about his new girl friend, I began to find the message. His girlfriend is a former Italian supermodel Carla Bruni. Her first name Carla containing the word "car" like related with the probability that I would meet the end of my life in a car accident resembled to what happened to Lady Diana and later on Taufik Savalas, like written in my letter "Two and a Half Year Transit to the Eternity".

While her last name "Bruni" is a little bit like he Indonesian word "berani" which means "brave" or "dare". So the message is that I should dare to accept my destiny of experiencing the car accident according with my consent to move to the eternity.

Following the above letter about president Nicolas Sarkozy's divorce, I tried to search for other message from his visit to the Middle East recently.

So far I found no significant message except for the photo of him holding a sword offered by Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The photo was made on 14 January 2008, one day after my previous letter of "Not Passing the 25 December" dated 13 January 2008 whereas I wrote about ".......now I think the message here is some kind of choices for me, whether I would cancel my consent to move to the eternity, to be like Sam who came to live again, with the consequence of my older brother should die. My answer is no, and it is final. I should never pass the 25 December episode and live again in the 26 December episode. 26 December is also known as the Asian Tsunami, that killed more than 200 thousands people in more than 12 countries in year 2004. Moreover, my older brother name is Faisal, with a syllable of "sal" like in the word "salib", an Indonesian word for Christian's "cross". If I cancelled my consent to move to he eternity, and it happened like in that "Supernatural" TV series, my older brother should replace me to die, it would be terrible....."
