HONORING THE ANCIENT ONES ON THE GREAT PYRAMID
Part 2

by ROBERT MORNING SKY

WHAT JEAN SAW

"We were waiting back at the conference center about a quarter mile away, so we couldn't see when Robert began to make his ascent. After a while, we began to get the feeling that he had started. Just then a white bird flew directly at us at eye level. We were pretty sure then that he had begun to climb. Just after that, we could see him on the peak."

"As I watched and waited to see Robert appear on the top of the pyramid I noticed a black cloud over the pyramid. It seemed to get darker and darker. I remember being very concerned that this cloud might rain on Robert. At other times I wondered just what was that 'cloud' doing up there and what was it hiding? It just seemed so strange."

"Watching Robert dance was a unique moment in time. To be able to witness such an event is truly beyond words. We all watched as Robert began to dance. As he continued something began to happen. I saw sparks of light coming off the sides of the Great Pyramid. I saw this at first through my camera. I did not believe my eyes, so I moved my eyes from behind my my camera and looked directly at the Great Pyramid. And there they were about one-fourth the way down the pyramid. Little bursts of light. I am not sure that the word 'sparks' describes what I saw. It was more like lightening streaks coming off of the pyramid, yet the streaks of light were not jagged, they were almost ribbon like. At other times I could see little bursts of light coming off the sides of the pyramid. I remember thinking to myself, 'Is he going to jump-start this thing?'"

"As he continued to dance the cloud above him seemed to grow darker. Then it got very cold and windy. The wind seemed to blow from north to south and at times seemed to be coming directly from the pyramid. I remember becoming very cold and my camera and tripod swaying in the wind. It seemed as if it took forever for the sun to rise that morning. Someone in our group asked Mr. Fayed if this cold, cloudy weather was normal for Giza at this time of year. His reply was 'No, it was not, not for summer'. The wind was very strong and came from the north, yet at one point, it seemed to be coming directly from the direction of the Pyramid itself at us. It was pretty creepy."

"When he started to dance, the Pyramid itself began to glow. There was a white energy coming out of the Pyramid. I have never seen an energy field move before. When he was dancing, it was moving. It came forward, it was in front of the Pyramid. At one point while Robert was dancing, I gasped as I saw a large light appear at the top of the pyramid. It was in the shape of a 'vesica pisces', rather almond shaped, but without the sharp point at the top. It was visible to me for a few seconds. I could see what I will describe as an aura outlining the pyramid. What I mean by the term aura is the electromagnetic field. I could see a white field with a hint of blue/green outlining the pyramid. At one point I watched in awe as this electric field actually moved to the front and left, or south, of the pyramid. I couldn't take my eyes off of it. This was very strange."

"Robert's dance was beautiful and dynamic. From where I was standing he seemed to spin and spin as his feathers flew in the wind. He danced at the corners of the pyramid and in the center. At one point it looked as if he was dancing, not on the Pyramid, but just over the south side of the pyramid. At some points he disappeared from my view and then he would return. There was a time when we thought he was finished and was leaving because he seemed to step down from the top. In a little while, he was back dancing again. At this time the sky became lighter. The dawn was finally coming."

WHAT DEBBIE SAW

"From the balcony, I could see Robert atop the Great Pyramid. As he was dancing, the sky darkened and the clouds 'billowed' giving an ominous sense to the event. Lights appeared around the top of the pyramid - not quite sparks, but tiny, moving short points of light and color as if they were propelled up and outward. It got quite cold and windy and even though I had on a light jacket, wished I had brought a winter coat to Egypt! The clouds shifted and I saw 'waves' of energy rolling and undulating down the sides of Cheops' monument. I could see Robert spinning in the center and it had the appearance of a whirlwind atop the structure."

WHAT MICHAEL 'STANDS TALL' SAW

"When Robert began to ascend the Pyramid, he moved like a serpentine bird. The bustles were moving like a feathered serpent or feathered snake. He looked like a bird ascending. It was smooth, there was no stopping. It looked like he was literally flying up the corner that he went up, he wasn't climbing. We watched him until he disappeared into the darkness. It took him roughly twenty minutes to get to the top of the Pyramid."

"When I was looking at the Pyramid, I noticed that it was slightly framed in a white glow, not really bright, just an outline of Giza. On the peak of Giza, you could see luminescent streaks with a definite 'period' end to it. I didn't see rapid streaks, first there was one streak, and then a little bit later, another one. They weren't sparkly or like fireworks, they were luminescent streaks that just came off the Pyramid on the top. I noticed later that the concentrated darkness dissipated and moved. This was accompanied by lots of wind from the north. At one point, it got very cold. The sunrise was overcast. I asked Gauda (our Egyptian Host) if this was normal for summer. He said, 'No, for winter it is, but not for summer'."

"When Robert was dancing, it's hard to put it into words. You could feel it in the air, you could see the flashes of light, the wind was blowing, it was cold, there was darkness…it was quite an experience. At one point it looked like he wasn't even on the Pyramid, like he was on the side of it. After he came down, as Robert walked down the road by the Sphinx to the conference center, there were birds circling above him. They actually seemed to be following him. Lots of them were white."

WHAT ERNEST 'BLACK WOLF' SAW

"Robert didn't climb up to the peak, he flew up to it. As he was going up, his top bustle moved to the right, his bottom bustle moved to the left. He snaked his way up the thing, he flew up the thing. We had been climbing up a small mountain every day in preparation for this night, but he didn't climb the Pyramid, he sort of glided up it."

"When he danced, the Pyramid sort of lit up. Not bright, not white, just sort of glowing. I'm not even sure he danced ON the Pyramid, I think he was above it. I was drumming on the side of the balcony as he was dancing. I think he could hear me, because he moved to the same beat I was keeping. I can't describe it, no one can. He just did it."

WHAT OTHERS SAW

The above statements best summarize the lights as witnessed by those who saw them. Many people saw the lights, some did not. But everyone experienced the dark cloud, the cold and the dance. The earthquake which took place is a matter of fact. What each person took away with them from the events at the Great Pyramid remains very personal. Only time will tell what the significance of the event, if any, will be. At the very least, the Morning Sky family and those who were present that morning played a role in Honoring the Ancient Ones…an act that is significant in and of itself.

THANK YOU…

On May the 10th, 1999, we performed an Honoring Dance on the peak of the Great Pyramid. We have received countless letters and e-mails thanking us for our dance and our efforts to pay our respects to those Ancient Ones who built the Great Pyramid and to the Ancient Powers who inspired the Pyramid and all of the other extraordinary ancient structures on our planet. We have also received numerous e-mails from individuals who danced in their own way at approximately the same time that we performed our dance. We are proud of the results of our visit, and we are honored to know that other 'Nobodies' have taken the time and made the effort to express themselves.

As we have expressed over and over again since the beginning of this journey, we had no political, spiritual or religious purpose for our visit and Dance. As the events unfolded, we were surprised at the continual efforts exerted by others to turn this Dance into a vehicle for just these agendas. My family and I have gone to great lengths to keep the event in perspective. We have, from the very beginning, attributed many of the curious links to our visit as nothing more than coincidence - an amazing coincidence - but a coincidence nonetheless. Some individuals have criticized us for being 'too cautious', and for not accepting 'our role' (What-ever that 'role' might be. Some others, several others actually, have advised us that there is no such thing as a 'coincidence'. The ultimate message sent by these individuals is that we have erred by not making more of this event than we have. This is a 'left-handed' compliment and we want thank all of you, but it is important to us that this remain as we intended, a Dance by a Nobody intended to Honor the 'Ancient Ones'.

As we stated above, while we witnessed the 'mysterious' lights during our dance, we cannot prove or explain their existence. Some people saw the lights, some did not. Whether they were real or imagined, witnessed or not, their existence or their non-existence does not in any way affect what we did…we danced to Honor the Ancient Ones.

As many of you have read in our earlier posting, our performance of the Dance was preceded with great difficulties. In relating these events, only one individual contacted us to tell us that we should not 'air our dirty laundry' on our site. Most people thanked us for the story and for the behind-the-scenes narration. It had been our hopes that other 'Nobodies' would recognize the difficulties that a 'Nobody' must face when we try to remain true to our passions. You did. One individual perhaps best summed up the words of many by stating 'The fact that you faced all these difficulties makes me appreciate your dance on the Pyramid that much more. That you are a Nobody, like me, makes it clear to me that some day I can do something like it too. Thank you.'

Anyone who read our earlier posting of this paper will notice that we did not 'name names', a point that a few readers commented on. We have no desire to reveal the names of individuals involved in obviously criminal activities and we have deliberately omitted additional events which clearly implicated others whom we prefer to leave nameless. Egypt is an extraordinary place. If at all possible, if the opportunity affords itself, we strongly suggest that you visit and experience the land and the monuments for yourself. It is a visit you will never forget. We caution you, however, to be very careful. As one Reader in Egypt very familiar with the country conveyed in her message: 'In Egypt, anything can be done for the right price'. While the right price may get you into an ancient site, remember: you are a guest in a foreign country. A violation of their laws and regulations remains just that: a violation of their laws and regulations. For a price, 'witnesses' can also be produced that may be your undoing. Enjoy…but tread cautiously.

The Great Pyramid and the Sphinx are stone testimonials to the wisdom and abilities of the ancient peoples of Egypt. That the Morning Sky family could visit and perform an Honoring Dance is an achievement that we shall never forget. Thank you to all the 'Nobodies' and 'Renegades' who have expressed your support; thank you to all the individuals who assisted in making our Dance possible; and thank you to all those who provided the difficulties and made our Dance all the more meaningful.

For your consideration…
