Some say she has traveled thousands of miles. That she has explored the forests and villages of medieval Europe and that she has journeyed into the future. That she has been shot into space, that she has plummeted down waterfalls and that she has survived a trip on an out-of-control steam train.

Some say that she has been the subject of legends and ballads.

Some say that she has been on more adventures than any other Little Pony.

You decide that you must meet this amazing pony. So you seek out Lady Minty to ask her for directions.

You find Lady Minty playing with a teeny-tiny lavender baby pony. The baby toddles up to you and screeches. Covering your ears to block out the shrill sound, you ask Minty where you might find this legendary Little Hyper.

"You'd like to meet Little Hyper?" Minty asks with a grin. "Well, you're in luck; she's quite nearby. Just look down by your feet, and you'll see her."

You raise your eyebrows in question, then look down. All you see is the lavender baby. "Hi!" she squeals.

"Little Hyper," Minty says to the baby, "you have another visitor."

You stare in disbelief at the infant pony. "But they said that Little Hyper has toured medieval Europe!"

"I did that!" Little Hyper insists.

"And that Little Hyper has journeyed into the future, and into space!"

"And splashed down waterfalls, and ridden runaway trains, and fought pirates, and faced spooky ghosts, and on and on and on..." Little Hyper continues for you in her high-pitched voice. "It's all true. Isn't that right, Minty?"

Lady Minty nods. "It is, in a way. Of course, Little Hyper hasn't really traveled in time or any of that... But she has had many experiences that most Little Ponies never even dream of.

"You see, when I venture out of CloverFlower Fields and the rest of Ponyland into the so-called 'real world' on the other side of the rainbow, Little Hyper is the pony who always comes with me. She's so tiny that she fits right into my green purse, and so she goes everywhere I do. She's been to all of my university classes, to the movies, shopping, places like that. But, when Little Hyper has been a good girl, she also gets to go on more exciting adventures."

Little Hyper chirps in, "One of my favorite trips was to Williamsburg, Virginia in 1999. I went to Busch Gardens (which is themed after Medieval Europe) and went on lots of the rides there until Minty got sick from riding the rollar coasters too many times in a row!"

Lady Minty smiles through clenched teeth. "Our visitor doesn't really need to know that much, Hyper dear."

Little Hyper continues. "And then we rode the skyride at night and Minty let me hang out of the gondola by my tail!"

"Which is not something I advise others to do with their ponies," Lady Minty quickly adds.

"I like long car rides," Little Hyper says. "Minty lets me ride in the cooler until I have ice frozen in my hair, and then I shake it off onto Minty's little brother." She giggles.

"Hyper," interrupts Lady Minty, "why don't you tell our visitor what your very favorite place to visit is?"

"Disney World!" Little Hyper screams.

"Hyper has been to Walt Disney World several times, and she loves going back again and again," Lady Minty explains. "She's very excited, because we're planning to go there again soon."

"My favorite ride is Space Mountain," Little Hyper says happily. "And Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Minty holds me up during the rides so I can see everything."

"This is all absolutely true, too," Lady Minty adds. "Little Hyper has been on every major attraction at Disney World except those at Animal Kingdom. You should see some of the looks I get for insisting on dragging a toy pony on the Tower of Terror, or Splash Mountain. This is also where the rest of Little Hyper's legends come from. The 'traveling through space' bit is from Space Mountain, the 'down the waterfall' part from Splash Mountain, and so on."

So impressed are you with the all-true legends of Little Hyper that you decide to take a picture of her:

"Hey!" yells Little Hyper as you prepare to continue on your way. "Do you have a webpage? Do you like being hyper! Want to show everyone that you're a Little Hyper fan? Well, here's a present for you!" Proudly, she hands you a little website button.

"You can have this if you want it. Just slap it up on your page and link it back, either to this page (http://www.oocities.org/EnchantedForest/Mountain/3401/LittleHyper.html) or Lady Minty's main page. It's just a cool little way of sharing the good of being hyper with the world!"

You nod and smile, humoring the odd baby pony. But suddenly...

Something very strange happens.

You begin to see double.

Where there was one Little Hyper, now there are two.

"What?...." you manage to mumble.

"Oh, don't worry," Lady Minty quickly advises you, noticing your unsteadiness. "This is Little Hyper's new best friend, who recently arrived in the Fields from the mystical land of eBay. That's Hyper on the left, and the new baby on the right. We're still thinking up a name for her, but right now we're leaning towards either Baby Chaos or Baby Spazz."

"Okay..." You wave goodbye and decide to get out of there before the legendary Little Hyper decides to become triplets... Or worse.
