Click on the hot link or type into location (URL) box:  http://www.familysearch.org

Click on Order Family History Resources.  (Don’t worry!  There is NO charge).

Click on “Software Downloads - Free”

You will probably want to click on
“Personal Ancestral File® 4.0.4 - Multi Language (5.75 MB)”
as this will contain the English language version of the product.

Clicking on the above link will take you to a page which describes the product.  Read it and then click Proceed.

You will come to a page with the License Agreement.  Read, if you agree, click Continue.

You will come to the Registration page.   Fill in all required information. Click on Register.

You will come to a How to Download page.  Click on Click here to save file to your hard drive.

Be sure to save PafSetup to a place you will be able to go back and find it, whether it is just on your hard drive or if you create a folder for it.  (I put mine in Program Files).  Click Save.

Depending on the speed of your Internet connection, this download could last up to a half hour.

Once download is complete, go to where you saved PafSetup and click on the setup icon.
