Summary: Superceding the announced topic, the news that someone claiming to be a representative of Yahoo! had just opened a founder's club was on everyone's mind. Discussion centered on the notion that Yahoo! was merging services with eGroups and what impact this might have on club services and features.

debbie91949 says, "I'd like to see varying levels of security, similar to what Excite as in its clubs. The founder can decide whether the club will be listed and anyone can join instantly, or the club can be listed but prospective members must email the founder and be invited, or the club can be completely private and unlisted."

SunShinery says, "I think you need to look at what e Groups do,cause they will be using their technology with Yahoo clubs"
