Capitalizing on the success of the first Clue VCR game was Clue II: Murder in Disguise, released in 1987. The same ten murder-lovin' characters were back for a romp around the world, being chased by Inspector Pry of INTERPOL. Like the first VCR game, there are three chapters (Paris, Tangiers and Rangoon) and an introductory game adding up to eighteen different games to be played. To win a game, players must solve the murderers and their victims, the rooms (hall, dining room, billiard room, lounge or hotel room) and the weapons (knife, candlestick, gun, poison or rope).
The theme of the game is disguise, with all of the characters dressing up as people they aren't (Plum as Peacock, Green as Rose, Peach as Scarlet, Brunette as Mustard, Peacock as a bellgirl, Scarlet as a maid, and Gray as bellboy, telephone repairman, hotel manager, travel agent and anything else the characters decided to make him via hitting him on the head to induce amnesia). The characters are a lot less psychotic than the first game, and there is also considerably less violence and animosity between the characters.
In a big coincidence, the ten characters all meet-up at the same hotel in Paris after fleeing the states. After some wacky escapades with suitcases and blowing up the hotel, they all end up in Tangiers. They all plot on how to capture Inspector Pry (who has showed up, too) but at the last minute, he escapes. They all take a fourteen day freight train ride to Rangoon where they learn a tender life lesson that maybe crime and murder don't pay. Well, at least until reward money will be given to kill eachother off...

M. Brunette shows Miss Peach where they are.

Madam Rose and Madam R-- Mr. Green play a game of pool.

Sgt. Gray plays hotel manager while Mr. Green's money has mysteriously disappeared...

Mrs. White, Prof. Plum and Madam Rose discover the money.

In Tangiers, the rest of the gang wonder where the three got all their money when everyone else's money was blown up.

The camera man is told to get lost while Brunette, Scarlet and White hatch a scheme to capture Inspector Pry.

Husband-killer Peacock does not give up easily. In Rangoon, she practices to attract the Burmese upperclass men.

Is that really Col. Mustard?

Miss Peach's plan bungles things up.

Eleven boxes of fortune cookies...

Uh oh, wanted, dead or alive! Will they kill eachother off?

No need to worry, of course, as anyone should know, no one in Clue really ever dies...
