>>>How did you get involved with being in the games?
I auditioned and was cast, simple as that. It was my first Screen Actors Guild job.
>>>Have you done many things/kept in contact with the rest of the cast?
I'm good friends with Michael Dell'Orto and Cheryl [McMahon]. I get Christmas cards from Mara Flash. Walter Covell came to see my show in Boston the other night and is very supportive of my work as a playwright. I see Richard McElvain acintg in shows occasionally. Kind of lost touch with Janet Wong, though I think she lives in Connecticut. Don't know where Barry Doe is. Haven't heard from Betty Bogue in a while.
>>>Did you enjoy both productions?
Absolutely. The second one especially was enjoyable, as it was filmed in Newport, RI over a beautiful week in October, during the 1986 World Series (Red Sox).
>>>Do you have any particular memories or stories from either production?
Not really. Except the one time when Mara Flash, in acknowledging that I was balding, told me she knew a guy who was balding, and asked me if I knew him. I told her, sure, we have a directory of balding people and we keep in touch all the time.
>>>Have you ever seen or played the VCR games?
Twice. I think I lost. I found it confusing. But the games kept me alive financially from 1985-1990, so I can't complain.
Thank you, Jack Neary!
