I began flying kites in 1988 and I was hooked the very first time I flew a stunt kite. After years
of collecting kites, I learned to sew my first kite at a 1994 workshop hosted by the Kitchener-Waterloo
Wind Climber Kite Club . Being born and raised in Cambridge, Ontario (Canada), I became an active
member of the Club, helping organize several kite flying events and workshops over the past decade.
I also was editor for the club newsletter for several years. I am now presently the Wind Climber Kite Club
President.

As a kite enthusiast, I am a frequent contributor to the online kite magazine at Kitelife.com.
My articles include Canal Days in Port Colborne , an article on appliqué techniques & a plan on napkin
kites. I also have an extensive Webshots photo album of kiting events I have attended.
After years of making stunt kites, quad line and single line kites, I now concentrate more on
original single line and inflatable designs.

My kites travels have taken me to festivals and flying locations such as: Niagara Falls, NY ; Ocean
City, MD; Melbourne, FL; Baddeck NS; Dieppe NB; Verdun, QC; Saint-Honore, QC; Swift Current, SK
and of course all over Ontario including as far north as Thunder Bay.
