Windmill Workshop
Page Two

Ziggy Racek stopped by to meet up with Lam and Bill for some stunt kite flying in the park
David Goodfellow and his mom Phylis decided to make two windmills at the same time! It appears that the newest kite builders appear the most eager!
Michele holds up the first sail. Note how the black strips really help frame the colours nicely. It gives it a true stained glass effect. Nice colours!
Bob White of the Niagara Wind Riders gets busy! Bob and I had a fun yelling match that day. We taunted each other most of the afternoon to see who would finish first. All in good fun of course.
Ted Getting close to finishing his first sail. Ted's sail follows the theme of the GLKS colours. Ted is so loyal to his gang!
Jocelyn Bedard nears completion of her sail as well. Don't worry the flames will be done soon enough!
Tom Beatty of the GLKS holds up a small section of his sail. Tom's sail turned out to be a nice combination of yellow and black
Six different sails are pictured. Don's can be seen still in sections. In all 16 windmill kits were sold to various people. My understanding from Dennis is that most are already completed. So look for some windmills in a kite field near you soon! The Windmill Workshop was a huge success. Thanks for putting it all together Kerry, Lucy, Arlene and Dennis!
