No details were really reported to me so I will just post that we lost. Anyone there who wants to give me a breakdown can.
Tornado Tuesday
March 25th
Well as those of us who left the station to see if we were going to play with storms headed our way were surprised when we all took the field in the rain. the home umpire kept his eyes to the south where the worst of the rain was saying that he thought the officials in the booth were crazy.
Shelly, Tina, Jessica, Connie, Paula, Mike, Sterling, Chris, Eric, Patrick, Cody, Lou, Matt and ??? were there to play.
Pitching at times were Sterling, Lou and Matt
Our bats were good but not against the team that was kicking out butt when the staff at the field decided that people running a field and playing with a metal bats was a good idea and called the game.
Thursday
March 27th
Game 1
We showed up expecting to finish the game that we were getting our butt's kicked in and were surprised to find out that we were going to play a whole new game.
Winning the coin toss we elected to be the home team and took the field
Pitching - Larry
Catching - Connie
1st base - Mike
2nd - Jessica
Short Stop - Chris
3rd base - Amber
Out field from Left to Right - Matt, Paula, Keith, and Michelle H.
George replaced Matt in the outfield in the 3rd.
Coaching - Tina
It was a quick 3 up and 3 down for the Eagles and we came into bat and in order - Paula, Keith, Jessica, Mike, Connie, Chris, Michelle, Larry, Amber and then Matt. We scored 5 runs before the 1st inning was over.
The scoring was low as we played on and we were behind as we came in to bat in the 4th. Down 11 to 9 we came through with some solid hits and won the game 12 to 11 with no outs.
We jumped around as we shook hands with the eagle and made plans to be back at 9 for our second game of the night.

Game 2
The team, now minus Connie gathered around as we made plans for the second game. Tina was taking over as catcher with Matt sitting out till the 3rd.
As we turned in our line up ready to play again the coach of the other team stormed by mad, his team wounded and tired had left and forfeited the game. Astonished we stood there realizing that by luck we had won 2 games.
Several of us stayed for some batting practice and headed home
