From Rome we travelled via Pompei to Sorrento. Our campsite was pretty impressive, and it was our first opportunity to jump into the Meditteranean Sea. One night, Susan got carried home from town and dumped on the table where I was playing cards with some others...there she snored so heavily that the whole table was vibrating...and we had to call game over...boy did she spew!

The following day we caught a ferry over to the Isle of Capri and took a cruise around the island. The weather couldn't have been better and the Blue Grotto didn't fail to impress (below). It was here that I also saw a 3 wheeler flip onto its side from turning too hard! It was one of the funniest things I'd seen in my life! And I didn't even run over to see if the driver was ok!
Still excited about going to Capri.

Cruising around the Isle of Capri Then it was finally time for us to make our way over to the Island of Corfu in Greece. Our ferry journey over was pretty quick as it was an over nighter, and the following days were spent in rancho relaxo! Most of the time was spent either by the pool or on the beach, except when we were on Georges Boat. The sassy, sexy man himself is pictured below with yours truly. What we've all been waiting for, the Blue Grotto.
There was a fair bit of skinny dipping that day...and night. Not to mention the seedy adventures of Dave and Eric (cameo appearance by Kerrie) on the beach that night towards the end of the massage-fest. And Tozzie, of course, showing us what she was really made of! While some of us were out kayaking (on one of our 4 days there) the rest of the crew decided to rent mopeds and run havoc around the island. I also heard that Kev fell off the back of one at some stage! Corfu had to end at one stage and we headed off once again on a ferry, to Venice. Here, I showed with all my class and sophistication, how to streak across the front of a bar. The Fusina bar have a 'show-for-shots' policy and it was on in force that night. Click

Steins Gallore in Munich
on the link above and see for yourself! From Venice we had a long haul drive up to Vienna and were all more than keen to have a night out at the Prata amusement park in the middle of town, with the go-carts being a clear favourite. The Schnaps Museum also got a thorough visit from us, thorough taste test that is!
Just one of several raging nights on the bus ride home.
From Vienna we made our way across to Munich but not without making 2 V.A.Es. A concentration camp in the outskirts of Austria and the town where a part of the Sound of Music was filmed (the wedding part apparently). Then it was off to Munich. The Swiss Alps

There we got a good taste of German food and the 1 liter steins! A few of those was enough to get anyone plastered...with the exception of Mik of course, who proceeded to drink 7 steins at the Hofbrauhaus in one session before being 'asked' to leave. it was one of these days that Kath showed us yet another of her 'colourful' suprises on the bus. Way to go Kath! It was on the morning we were to head off to Switzerland that we learned that Azza the driver had to go to hospital to get his back checked out. But all was good as a replacement driver, John, caught a cab up from Vienna in a record 1hr 45mins (yes that was Vienna to Munich!). Finally we were on our way to Switzerland, with a quick stopover in Leichtenstein for lunch, and the alps were all ours for the next 2 days. Some chose to go to the top of the Jungfrau Glacier for a whopping 110 Swiss Francs and others including myself chose to spend the day doing a crazy 8-hour trek up the mountains ourselves. But it was all worth it in the end...as you all saw with the opening picture of me on this web-site!
