| I know absolutely that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, perfect, died for me as imperfect as I am, sufferred a toruous death and was ressurrected. Because of Him, I can be with God the Father forever. I know there is a God by the cosmological and design arguments, but moreso because of my personal relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. Isaiah, written probably a thousand years before Christ, gave in detail what Jesus would do and what would happen to Him (read Isaiah 52-53 especially). Christ fulfilled that exactly, and that's not to mention the other 38 old testament books written before Christ. Even those opposed to Him (Jews, Muslims, etc.) admit his existence, what He did, His miracles. Most importantly, I know absolutely because of what I have seen Him do in my life and in the lives of others, and because I have a personal relationship with Him. It is my goal in life to communicate this message to others. |
