RECOGNIZING THE FUTURE'S BEST AND BRIGHTEST
The CPhA, along with Apotex/PACE and Pharmasave, celebrated the 32nd year of the Centennial Scholar Award Program. One third-year student from each Faculty of Pharmacy was chosen on the basis of significant academic and extracurricular contributions and achievements. These students were invited to the CPhA's 87th Annual Conference in London, Ontario in May. Here they were recognized for their achievements and exposed to the many facets of the pharmacy profession through the structured Centennial Scholar Program.

In it's 6th year, the CPhA-Apotex/PACE Future Leader Award Programrecognizes the profession's newest and most promising pharmacists. Onegraduate is chosen from each of the nine Faculties of Pharmacy based on the graduates academic achievement, leadership qualities, and contributions to undergraduate student life. The award recipients are involved in a structured mentor program, allowing the exchange of ideas with pharmacy's current leaders, awarded a $1000.00 monetary prize, and were invited guests of the CPhA at the 87th Annual Conference in London, Ontario.

Commitment to Care Award for Student Leadership
Presented by Pharmacy Practice and Hospital Pharmacy Practice publications, the Commitment to Care Award for Student Leadership is presented annually to a pharmacy student in recognition of strong academic qualities as well as leader ship in pharmacy organizations and/or other professional activities. It is one of several Commitment to Care awards which annually honour Canadian pharmacists for their dedication and exceptional efforts in the areas of patient care, health promotion, charitable work, innovative pharmacy design, and hospital pharmacy. The award for student leadership is sponsored by AltiMed.
