JUNE 1997


The 1997 meeting year ended with elections and a bridal shower for soon to be wed Susan W.

SUMMER 1997

Summer was filled with excitement!!! We celebrated the engagement of Jessica and Roger with a candle passing ceremony, and we congratulated our newly wed - Susan.

SEPTEMBER


September started with a roll!!!!! Sigma's gathered to start the new year with a game of Bocci Ball.




OCTOBER

NOVEMBER


Founder's Day.... If you aren't sure what day that is - just ask Kathleen Quint! Actually, we'll tell you, it's November 9th.




DECEMBER

December is the month to remember your sisters and our national philanthropy. We hosted a craft workshop at Willow Glen Villa for seniors. After showing off our craft expertise, we exchanged ornaments with each other for the spirit of the holidays.


JANUARY

Hello and Happy 1998!
Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. Our first meeting of the new year was an exchange with another San Jose Alumnae group, the Kappa Deltas. We had an ice cream social with them a couple of years ago, which was a huge success. They are a relatively small group, similar to ours, and a lot of fun! We played Bunco, which is a round robin game, so that everyone could get a chance to chat with each other. We then feasted on a salad potluck.

APRIL

April was filled with lots of preparation for this years "Athena Luncheon". Thank you Joan, Patti, and all the other Sigma's who volunteered their time.

MAY

This years Athena Luncheon was held May 2nd. Our very own, Kristi R., was one of the honored guests!!!
Next meeting: May 28th at Kristi R's.
