I would like to emphasize that this is not a test of your abilities. Rather, I’m trying to find potential problems in the website as it is a “work in progress.” 

To explain the motivation behind the website, my thesis project may be ‘the study of the evolution of a web directory.’ It is very important for me to start early (the thesis is not due until early 2001) to gather enough quantitative and qualitative data so that the results of the study are valid.
