MAT 229 : Problems Seminar I

A seminar on problem solving in selected areas of mathematics. Material will be taken from various problems books, competitions, and mathematical periodicals. Intended for first- and second-year students who wish to participate in the annual Putnam competition. Prerequisite : A grade of C or better in MAT 126 or permission. (Offered in fall semesters only.)
