Dear friends,
As you may know, we the Vietnamese Student Association are now well
established and growing stronger everyday. That is all thanks to you,
the members for your support.
Our next major event is going to be the celebration for "Tet Nguyen Dang"
which is to be held sometime in February. Exact dates are to be
confirmed.
We aim to publish our fourth magazine and distribute it by that date.
As the newly appointed VIETSEN EDITOR for this society I am writing to
ask you for your help towards the making of this magazine.
The magazine aims to bring together a wide range of topics ranging
from Vietnamese history, health, education, fashion travel and
current social topics of interest.
The major topics which I need contributions for include:
. Article about history of Tet Nguyen Dang
. Health issues
. Fashion
. Life as a .. (your special field of study)
. Music
. Quizzes and puzzles
. Poems
. Literature (Vietnamese)
. Cool places to visit in eg. London, New York, Tokyo etc.
. Recent events on the news and how they have affected you
. Travel especially to foreign countries and how you found such places
. Amazing life events
This list however is non exhaustive, they are only suggestions. Please
feel free to contribute in whatever way that you wish to.
It would be appreciated if you could word process the articles in both
English and Vietnamese (VPS or VISCII editors prefered).
This is not an obligation.
Please send your articles either directly to me by email at
ez6050@qmw.ac.uk or to 10 Chestnut House, Maitland Park Villas, London, UK.
Or alternatively to my collegue: Bui Quang Tuong, 39 Algarve Road, Earlsfield,
London, UK.
There is no deadline but we would appreciate it by January 25th 1999 so that
we can have a draught print. Thus, if you want your articles to be
included definitely..... don't delay get writing!
Any queries, please contact me at the email address given previously.
Thank you for your help.
