Worthy Keeper of Finance - Jeremy Garrett
I have been a member of Phi Delta Chi since the Fall of 1995. In that time, I have seen good times and bad times financially. I am happy to say that we are not in the red and the finances seem to be holding strong. We now have more members than we have ever had since I have been here. This means spending lots of time tending to fraternity business. There are a lot of dues to collect. We have also had several fund-raisers and that means keeping track of expenses and as well as the profits from each endeavor. It has not always been easy, but I have enjoyed every minute of it.
I have had this office since the end of Fall 1996. I am so glad that I have had this opportunity to serve this fraternity. It is true what everyone says when they say that you get out of this fraternity what you put into it; furthermore, even saying this as an officer, I know that it is true for anyone that is not an officer as well.
In conclusion, I want to just thank the alumni for coming through financially when we needed them the most. It is truly through their help that we have been able to get back on our feet.
