What is CAP?
C.A.P. is a joint project of the Associate Chair in the Management of
Technological Change, University College of Cape Breton and Nova Scotia
Communities which have recently installed Public Access computers and Internet
facilities as part of the Community Access Projects funded by Industry Canada.
Our aim at T.L. Sullivan is to provide the community with the very latest
Internet facilities. During the summer of 1996, Dr. T.L. Sullivan Jr. High
School served as a C.A.P. Community Access Project site. Our Internet facilities
have successfully provided the community with local access to the latest
technology. Through the summers of 1997, 1998, 1999 and again in this summer
of 2000, Dr. T.L. Sullivan has continued to serve the public with a series
of seminars and instructional day camps. The school will serve as a local
"on-ramp" to the information highway, where people can become familiar with
the Internet, either on their own or with the help of an instructor.
