of Trust - The Pakisthan Gesture
India extended a hand of friendship to its neighbour, Pakistan, with the visit of Indian Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpaye to Lahore, Pakisthan.Thus heralding a new era of Friendship and Peace with its estranged brother. But what
India got back was the mutiliated bodies of Indian soldiers
at the "war" of Kargil. India practiced atmost restraint in
not crossing the
Line of Control (LOC) separating the Kashmir state of India
and the Paksithan Occupied Kashmir (POK) but still won the war. India has thus demonstrated.

India is a mature
country which believes the solution to problems lies not in wars
but in words ( I mean Peace talks and Negotiations).

India has a efficient armed forces capable of accomplishing things under utmost constraints.
I pay homage to the soldiers who did the "Supreme Sacrifice" for the Nation. They all "Gave their today for our safe Tommorow". I bow before them with Gratitude and utmost humility.
I salute our ( India's) armed forces
for the bravery,courage and determination shown by them and rekindling the feeling of "Indian" ness in every one of us by their unselfish act and Urge to save every bit of our Mother Land.
For the family members who lost their dear ones in the "war" I convey my deepest condolense and wish to assure them that 900 million people of India are with them and thier dear ones sacrifice hasn't go in vain.

Indian Team saves a tender Pak soul - The Indian Gesture
When the soldiers
were fighting the Pak intruders at inhospitable Mountains of Kargil ,a team of Indian Doctors Lead by Dr. Cherian were fighting in a Hospital at Chennai, to save the life of a tender girl, from Karachi, Pakisthan. Sadhya Asif born with a defective Heart Valve was left at the mercy of fate until Dr. Adik recomended the parents of Sadhya to take her to India for treatment. Pakisthan Goverment initially refused giving Visa
to the Parents and the Girl but after repeated letters from Dr. Cherian they let them go. The operation was successful and Sadhya is going to be a normal girl soon. The best part is still to come. Dr. Cherian wrote off Rs. 25,000 of the Surgical charge. It seems the Dr. told that "let this be a gesture to people in Pak so that they wouldn't think Indians as their Enenmies, This is my way of paying tribute to the soldiers of Kargil".
