Heres where I introduce you all to my mates from back home in Burton "the brewing capital of the world" upon Trent.
Carl is THE original alcoholic from back home who drinks beer like water (in fact its scary!!!). He's definitely a Lager Lout if ever I saw one and prepared to get pissed anywhere, at any time!!! His favourite tipple (or should I say GUZZLE!!!) is Carling, he worships the stuff, although if he can't get his hands on any at a pub he'll settle for Carlsberg, but only after a big moan!!!
Carls a lanky Bastard at 6'4" (okay Carl you keep saying you're taller than that I know!!!) but anyway he's substantially bigger than me so I won't take the piss too much!!!
Other than beer, and erm, beer, oh yeah, and beer Carl loves the game of football (good man!!!) on the up side, but unfortunately he's a liverpool fan, so, like his beer, I can't say much for his taste (although he has a great taste when it comes to the birds he'd shag, I'll admit that!!!).
Adam is somewhat quieter than Carl even though they have known each other virtually all their puny mortal lives. In fact they couldn't be more different from each other!!!
Adam mainly seems to prefer the local quieter pub kind of life as compared to Carls hectic clubbing lifestyle.
Again, different to Carl HE HATES FOOTBALL (what??!!!???), I can't understand why personally, but respect to the man anyway!!! Adam prefers golf although he doesn't play too often. Other interests include an acute obsession with the paranormal and sci- fi, as he follows just about anything along these lines, and is definitely an X-Phile, no the X doesn't stand for peado!!!. At the mo he's finishing of his A-levels and eventually hopes to become involved in psyciatry or law (clever bastard!!!).
I've known Nick since we were pushed into the same registration group, and I've literally been stuck with him ever since!!! Only joking, Nicks been a decent friend over the years and like me and Carl is a fellow alcoholic (respect is due once more!!!). Also like Carl, Nick is another L.F.C. fan (AARRRGGGGHHHH they're everywhere!!!) so I permenantly get the piss taken out of me for being a gunner, or as they're concerned a gooner!!! Bastards, the pair of them!!!
Nick's come to the same Uni as me and is studying Geography and Enviromental Science. He seems to enjoy the course, and whenever he goes out to the local pubs down in the town centre he gets totally wankered, very funny, although not for me as he starts spouting out all sorts of embarrassing shit from my past back home that I've done!!!
James was definitely the quietest bloke I've ever met when I first met him, but once you got to know him he loosens up some, although, like Adam, we still haven't converted him to the ways of the Beer!!!
I met James properly when we were in the same Maths class at G.C.S.E, we used to be pretty good at these classes so dossed around alot, we had some good laffs!!!
James is a Blackburn supporter when it comes to football, but his main love (even above women!!!) is motor racing, both bikes and cars. I've been to Donnington with him and some friends once or twice and it was okay I suppose.
