I wish to submit information on two Confederate soldiers burried at Old Bethel Cemetery in Southern Graves County, Kentucky.
S. A. Croft - Co. C 12th Ky Forrest Cavalry, C.S.A. 1863 - 1865 (born: 10-09-1843, died: 12-12-1922)
Francis M. Cannon - 1st Sgt. 3rd Ky Mt. Inf., C.S.A. (born: 12-19-1834, died: 1-9-1900)
I have not researched farther into their service, but I have verified that they served in the Confederate Army. Both of these men have small plauques bearing the information above.
Old Bethel Primative Baptist Church ajoins the small cemetery. The Official Records mentions a brief skirmish at the site of the church grounds, but unfortunately nothing is known of who participated.Very Respectfully,
