The Alpha Delta Pi sorority proudly supports the Ronald McDonald House Charities in its philanthropic activities.

In 1979, at the Alpha Delta Pi Grand Convention, it was voted by the convention body to adopt the Ronald McDonald Houses as its new national philanthropy.

Ronald McDonald houses are located throughout the world near hospitals, and serve young cancer patients and their families as a "home away from home" during the patients treatment.

Throughout the year, Alpha Delta Pi members and alumni volunteer at Ronald McDonald houses, and sponsor fundraising events to raise money for the houses. The Upsilon chapter works with the Ronald McDonald House in Spokane, Washington. Some of the things that Upsilon does for the Spokane Ronald McDonald house include: volunteering, making cards and other decorations for holidays,

making teddy bears for the patients (1998 Fall Rush activity), and we hold a philanthropy activity every year. All the money raised at the activity goes to the Ronald McDonald House. In the past we have hosted a billiards tournament, this year we have decided to do something different, which still has yet to be decided.
