Name | Central Rats |

History | As the Central state is the political centre of Whitlam, generally, sporting teams that came from Central contained public servants and political workers from all walks of life, especially in the amateur sports like Rugby. Opposition contempt for these players led them to be called the Rats, (a Whitlamite term for a disloyal or cheating politician) Taking the insult on, the players of Central adopted the name, in defiance of their detractors. |

History | Early Rugby in Whitlam began with Whitlam still quite isolated, as a result the state of Rogers, and Whitlam as a whole was not heavily involved in trade. A reproduction of a poor attempt at a red colouring. |
