EXPERIENCE


Internet Operations Center (IOC), Southfield, Michigan

Currently working as a Senior Network Engineer. Duties involves design, implementation and support of Internet Operations Center's Local Area and Wide Area IP Networks. Implemented BGP-4 and OSPF using Gated on SUN servers and Cisco routers for dynamic fail over and redundant routing. Current projects include migration to ANX for the FORD/Visteon project and design and support of MetroNet, a network connecting a consortium of public libraries in Detroit Metro area.


ADNS, Ameritech Inc., Detroit, Michigan

Worked as a Wide Area Network Consultant providing support to Ameritech customers. Major account was supporting the Henry Ford Health System's Metropolitan Area Network. Providing remote monitoring as well as guidlines and help with day time hands-on operational and design issues.


MCIWorldcom, UUNET Technologies, Ann Arbor, Michigan

Worked as a Network Engineer II, in the Operations Engineering Group. Duties were divided between real-time and non-real-time responsibilities.


Real-time duties involved 24x7 shift rotation to provide support to the ANS NOC. Handle all sorts of escalations for routing, circuits and hardware failure issues.


Non-real-time duties involved working on different projects. This included designing and expanding the current infrastructure, working with customers to solve their growing bandwidth demand, evaluating new hardware and software for the backbone as well as customer use. OPNET Applications Engineer Intern, MIL3 Inc., Washington DC

Worked as summer intern for three months. Designed and developed mobile radio models and sales demo. Also developed TCP/IP over ATM seminar model. June 96 - Aug 96.


Graduate Research Assistant, Wayne State University

Worked as a graduate research assistant in the dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The project was to design a simulator that would simulate the traffic on a 2-D Mesh topology for the parallel computing machines. The simulator was being designed using OPNET and C programming language. Sept 95 - May 96.


Center for Computer Aided Design (CCAD), University of Iowa

Worked as a graduate research assistant on the Iowa Driving Simulator Project. Duties involved C programming on UNIX based systems and updating and maintaining the simulator makefiles. Feb 95 - May 95
