Rain stretched and let out a sigh of relief as she stepped out of the exam room. She felt a lot more relaxed now that the worst hour of the day had passed.
Or so she thought.
"Grey! You're still here!" She glared daggers at the familiar silhouette leaning against the wall facing the entrance of her exam room.
"How was the exam?" He smiled good-naturedly at her.
"Just tell me what you are doing here." She said dangerously.
"I'm waiting for you." He answered, spreading his hands.
"Waiting for me? Whatever for?"
"I have nowhere else to go." Grey shrugged.
"Oh Lord! What did I do wrong to deserve such punishment from you?" Rain muttered under her breath. Then, she said to Grey, "But you can't just follow me around like this forever!"
"What else am I supposed to do?" Grey pouted. Rain never thought she would ever live to see a grown man pout like a child. She should have been disgusted. But instead she thought he looked cute while he pouted. God, she must be going nuts. "I don't know where I live, got nowhere to go, and I have no money."
"But......but that doesn't give you the right to follow me around like this!" Rain protested.
Grey just gave her another one of his increasingly annoying shrugs.
Rain muttered something unladylike under her breath, and decided to ignore Grey from that point on. After all, she had no responsibility to look after this man. She stomped past Grey's six feet tall frame and headed towards her locker. It took her a while to convince her combination lock that she was indeed the locker's owner in her frustration against her unwanted stalker. Then, she yanked her backpack out of the tiny storage space, put on her coat, and slammed the locker shut. She was about to walk away when Grey called behind her.
"You forgot to lock it back."
Fuming, Rain stomped back towards to locker and secured the lock in place.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw that Grey was grinning.
