The constitution of the Thornlea Student Association
Council 1996-1997
In an attempt to foster a positive experience, promote student welfare,
encourage pride and participation in the school, and build upon a solid
academic background through extracurricular programs and/or activities,
be it resolved that
The Thornlea Student Association Council (TSAC) is the administrative
council charged with maintaining the integrity of both the letter and the
spirit of this act. The Thornlea Student Association (TSA) consists of
all those students who posses a valid TSA card.
The TSAC is specifically charged with:
- Planning, coordinating, and financing appropriate student activities
within the school.
- Representing the views and feelings of the Thornlea student body
- Acting as a liaison between Students, School Administration, Staff,
and the Board and Ministry of Education
- Promoting leadership skills among students
