This page is dedicated in memory of #3, Drazen Petrovic, the greatest Net of them all. Although the team has had it rough ever since Draz passed on, I am confident that they are on the road to respectability again.

The John Starks Theory

Many people believe that a slick road caused Draz' death, but I, however, have a different theory. I call it The John Starks' Theory. If Starks hadn't taken a cheap shot against Kenny Anderson, breaking his wrist, the Nets would have finished higher up in the Eastern Conference. With a better seed in the playoffs, the Nets would have advanced a round, and Draz would still be in the country on June 7, 1993, instead of on the Autobahn. Starks robbed the Nets of a great player and a great person, the likes of which they will sorely miss. (just for the record, I don't actually blame Starks, but it is an interesting theory)

My Nets Season Preview

Well, the lockout is finally over. Most years I wouldn't really care either way, but witht the talent and chemistry the Nets have, I am glad things are back. Check out my preview for my thoughts on the team.
