No matter what misconceptions many christians
have about Islam, the fact is: Islam is the only non-christian religion
in the entire world that makes it a fundamental issue of faith to believe
in the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ. In other words, no Muslim is
a believer until he or she believes that Jesus Christ was miraculously
born without a father. Further more, the Quran
gives Jesus a very high status among the men of the world. The Quran
describes Jesus as one of the five best men ever to walk the earth. This
select special group consists of the five greatest Messengers of
God : Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed, may peace be upon
them all.
It is also to be noted that when naming
the best woman who ever lived, Mohammed did not name his beloved
daughter Fatimah, or his pious wife Khadijah who stood behind
him in times of oppression, nor did he name any woman of his time. The
first prize of the best woman ever, went to Mary (Maryam in Arabic),
the mother of Jesus Christ. The Quran attests to this fact.
However, there
are fundamental issues of difference between Muslims and Christian. These
can be summerized into three fundamental differences:
-
Adam and the Original Sin.
-
The Crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
-
The Divinity of Jesus Christ.

how the above differences come about:
