There
are millions of fan sites on the World Wide Web. Why would a person, let alone
all the persons that are contributing to this page, bother to make another fan
site, not even to mention the fact that it’s not a site for a particular band,
person, tv series or sports club?
The
reason for this is simple: we are trying to fill a void that, in our opinion,
has to be filled. Tooth & Nail Records is a record company that offers an
amount of quality music that it simply can’t be neglected. They even offer a
great number of styles of music,
and all of these styles are represented by the best bands in that style.
The record companies closely connected to Tooth & Nail., BEC
Recordings, Plastiq Musiq and Solid State Records, all have the same quality
standards. To give you some examples:
T&N
was the first record company to contract the huge punk rock band MxPx. In this
same genre you can find amazing bands like Slick Shoes, Craig’s Brother, Ghoti
Hook, Hangnail and Dogwood. Ska is represented by The O.C. Supertones, The Dingees and Flight 180. |

Hardcore
at its best is made by bands like ZAO,
Training For Utopia, Blindside, Selfmindead and Stretch
Arm Strong as well as it used to be made by Focused, Strongarm
and Focal Point.

T&N
also has quality bands that could be labeled as metal, alternative rock, post
punk and praise rock. In conclusion: Tooth & Nail Records offers an all-star band line up and all the contributors to this page agree with that. Everyone of us thinks Tooth & Nail Records rules all!

Tooth & Nail Records is a record company. It was founded 5 years ago by Brandon Ebel. The bands that have a contract @ T&N Records are alternative bands who, mostly, have a christian attitude. This doesn't mean that they all sing about God, but it means that most of the band members are christians. Or, as Brandon Ebel himself puts it: "I'm NOT a baby-sitter, the bands will have to make out themselves what they believe in."
The music that
can be found on T&N varies from punk to indie and from metal to hardcore. The hardcore
and metal can now be found on Solid State Records, which is a division of T&N, so when
you buy a Solid State album, you can be sure that it's hard 'n' loud music. Recently, a
second division took off: Plastiq Musiq. This division features electronic pop bands like
House Of Wires and Norway. They have a resemblance with Joy Electric. The T&N music
that cannot be 'labeled' as hardcore, metal or electronic pop will use the name of Tooth
& Nail Records. Last year, Brandon Ebel started another record company called B.E.C.
Recordings, a label with better distribution possibilities than T&N (and its divisions).
This means that the music from this label will, probably, sell better (think of the O.C.
Supertones).
In February of 2000, B.E.C. Recordings started it's first division: Uprok
Records. This sub label will specialize in Rap artists like MG! The Visionary
and Sup The Chemist.
You can buy all T&N albums, cassettes, vinyl records, samplers, merchandise, band t-shirts, stickers, clothes and posters via the following shops. They also sell the stuff from Solid State Records, BEC Recordings and Plastiq Musiq.
