The Flevo Totaal Festival is the largest open air christian music festival in Holland, with about 10,000 visitors. The festival takes place during 3 days and features a variety of artists. This year, Stavesacre was there, as well as e.g. Five Iron Frenzy, The Electrics, Audio Adrenaline and Delirious?.

It was the first time Stavesacre played in Holland. We were a little afraid that people wouldn't show up at their gig, because the visitors of the festival are mostly into the "popular" christian music genre. Surprisingly enough, the audience liked Stavesacre a lot and even wanted them to return for some more songs after their gig. There was a lot of moshing, or, as we call it over here, "pogo-ing". Mark Soloman, the singer, seemed to enjoy performing a lot. They played a lot of songs from "Absolutes" and "Friction" and Jef Bellew (guitar) even got the chance to play the song "Wither (reprise)" on his own. Really cool, although the mic wasn't turned on yet when he started singing. They also played a brand new song, which (as far as we know) didn't have a name yet, but it was a great, hard & loud song. During an instrumental song, Mark climbed off the stage and started shaking hands of the people in front of the audience. So we took the opportunity to take a picture of him from a really small distance.
