The Supertones - "Adventures Of The O.C. Supertones" (TN1053)

Crazy gospelska / skacore ! It's fast, it's loud, it's got loads of trumpets and saxophones. Ska Ska Ska !!! The album kicks off with the great song "Adonai", praising God (=Adonai). Singer Matt Morginsky rapping fast and smooth guitar work by Kevin "Slim" Chen. Every song on this album is really good, the guitars are great, as well as bass, drums and trumpet 'n' tenor sax. Most of the songs really keep hanging in your head for a long time, because of the sing-along lyrics and the nice guitar and bass tunes. These songs are all full of the love that Christ has for everybody and they also show you that, even though it doesn't seem like it, God will always help you out! This album has really changed my mind about ska, because I thought ska was all "wimpy" and commercial stuff, but the Supertones show how to play really kewl ska! Keep on skankin'! My favorite songs on this album are "O.C.Supertones", "Who Can Be Against Me ?" (NO ONE!!) "Who Can Be Against Me?" and "Never Wanna Fall"... Definitely a record that you simply MUST hear!
